Meet Jon Dressler of Dressler’s Restaurant. When Jon and his wife Kim opened their first Dressler’s Restaurant in 2003 in Birkdale Village (the Metro location opened in 2010), their goal was to create a beautiful and welcoming setting where their guests could eat wonderful food and feel like a part of their family. Over the past ten years, they have accomplished just that! 

What do you like about owning Dressler’s? ”Actually, my wife owns the restaurant, I just work here! I love meeting great people, visiting the wine country, and of course eating at Dressler’s!”

What are some of the challenges of running a successful restaurant? ”Every day presents a different set of challenges. It is always dynamic…but that makes it fun too!”

Do you like to cook? ”Love to eat, love to cook!”

What are some of your favorite dishes to eat at Dressler’s? ”Calamari, Heart of Ribeye, and anything my mother makes for dessert!”

What do you think are some of the customers’ favorites? ”Halibut, Calamari, and my bad jokes.”

What qualities make Dressler’s an exceptional restaurant? ”We have very caring and passionate people that work with us, and who truly enjoy serving our wonderful guests.”

Why do people like dining at Dressler’s? ”We create a very familial atmosphere for both our staff and guests. People enjoy the hospitable treatment that we offer.”

What do you like most about your job? “I love the personal interaction with different people every day and I love my days off on the golf course!”
